Turkey’s stunning Lycian Coast. Paddle through crystal-clear waters while discovering
ancient cities, hidden coves, and captivating historical ruins that date back millennia.
From the forgotten wonders of Lycian tombs carved into cliffs to the remains of ancient
amphitheaters, every stroke brings you closer to the rich history that shaped this
legendary region.

Immerse yourself in a unique cultural experience, where each stop reveals a new
chapter in the story of the Lycians, and enjoy the serenity of a coastline untouched by
mass tourism. After each adventure, savor the exquisite flavors of renowned Turkish
cuisine, offering a delightful culinary journey to complement your unforgettable
experiences of each day.

Perfect for adventurers, history enthusiasts, and those seeking a truly authentic and
unforgettable experience. Join us for a sea kayaking adventure like no other, where the
past and present flow together in perfect harmony.

Day 1: Arrival and Introduction to Kekova

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted by our team and transferred to
the picturesque village of Üçağız. En route, you will enjoy your first Turkish lunch while
taking in the landscapes of the region. Once settled into your hotel in Üçağız/Simena,
you will embark on your first kayaking experience, paddling through the ancient ruins
of the Sunken City of Kekova and exploring the historic and picturesque island of
Kaleköy, home to a Lycian/Roman castle. The day will conclude with a traditional
Turkish dinner at a local restaurant, offering a perfect opportunity to unwind and
reflect on the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Aperlai & Snorkeling Adventure

Begin your day with a traditional Turkish breakfast before paddling along the western
route to the ancient city of Aperlai, stopping at scenic bays like Tersane Bay along the
way. A brief hike offers breathtaking views of the ruins of Aperlai, nestled in a remote
corner of the coastline and reachable only via sea or hiking on the Lycian trail. Listen
to your guide explaining one of the most sought after trade items of Aperlai in the
ancient times: the Royal purple dye made out of murex snails. After walking in and
around the ruins, get your snorkel and mask to explore the submerged ruins of Aperlai
Sunken City along the shoreline—one of the region’s most unique underwater
archaeological sites.

Walk back to Nomad Ramazan’s place in Polemos bay and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch
and probably the best fries in the area at a his fisherman house. Paddle back following
the shoreline towards Üçağız soaking in the unspoiled views of the coast. If the
conditions are favorable, you can also enjoy an exhilarating sailing experience with
your kayak, harnessing the power of the wind and just relaxing and embracing the
subtle waves and charming vistas of the coast.

Day 3: Kekova East Route & Andriake Lycian Museum

Following a traditional Turkish breakfast, we set off for the eastern route of Kekova,
discovering hidden bays and secluded beaches. Along the way, visit a protected cave
known for its use by endangered monk seals as a nesting ground, and be on the look
out and take the opportunity to spot sea turtles swimming in the crystal-clear waters.
Towards the end of the route, paddle into the fresh water stream of Andriake and
prepare yourselves to be welcomed by turtles leisurely feeding and gliding in the
stream. After a day of kayaking, we visit the Andriake Lycian Museum and the ancient
cistern, where you’ll gain deeper insights into the rich Lycian heritage. Later, we
transfer to Kaş, a vibrant coastal town renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and
spectacular views. Enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the town’s top restaurants after
checking into your hotel.

Day 4: Free day for exploration with options of your own choice

After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a free day to explore the area at your own pace. You
can opt for a boat ride to the Greek island of Kastellorizo, where you’ll discover its
charming harbor, colorful streets, and blend of Greek and Turkish culture. Alternatively,
relax in Kaş, visit its beaches, or wander through the town’s quaint streets. For those
with a passion for history, we offer an optional excursion to Myra and the Church of
Saint Nicholas, while diving enthusiasts can experience the crystal-clear waters of Kaş,
a world-renowned diving destination. End the day with a delicious dinner featuring
Mediterranean flavors.

Day 5: Kayaking in the Kaş Archipelago

After breakfast, embark on a full day of kayaking around the stunning coastlines of Kaş.
Paddle through hidden coves, enjoy the serenity of the Mediterranean, and take in the
spectacular coastal view of Kaş and Kastellorizo.

A leisurely lunch at a seaside restaurant provides an opportunity to relax and refuel
before continuing your kayaking adventure. In the evening, savor a traditional Turkish
dinner at a renowned local restaurant, enjoying the fresh ingredients that define the
region’s cuisine.

Day 6: Patara Adventure

After checking out of your hotel, transfer to Kalkan for a day of exploration. Paddle
along the coast to Patara Beach, home to Turkey’s longest stretch of sand and the site
of one of the world’s earliest parliamentary buildings. Enjoy a beachside picnic lunch
and take time to explore the ancient ruins of Patara, including Roman theaters and
historical remnants. After a day full of history and paddling adventure, we transfer you
to your hotel in Patara for a well-earned farewell dinner, reflecting on the experiences
of the day.

Day 7: Departure

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out of your hotel. Our
team will transfer you to the airport, where you will depart with memories of an
unforgettable sea kayaking journey along the stunning Lycian Coast.

Kekova

Kekova is a place where time seems to pause, revealing a captivating blend of ancient
mystery and natural wonder. Tucked along Turkey’s turquoise coast, this hidden
paradise is home to the mesmerizing sunken city of Dolchiste, an ancient Lycian
settlement partially submerged following a series of earthquakes during the 2nd
century. Paddle through this historical wonder in your kayak, glide over centuries-old
stone walls, and hear whispers of the past as you explore this unique underwater
world. Beyond its historical allure, Kekova’s untouched bays and serene landscapes
make it a haven of tranquility. Step into a world like no other – where legends sleep
and nature reigns supreme.

Simena

Perched on the turquoise shores of the Lycian Coast, Simena is a charming castle village
that blends history, natural beauty, and tranquil Mediterranean charm. Dominated by
a striking ancient Lycian castle, the village offers breathtaking panoramic views of the
surrounding bays and islands. Accessible only by sea or on foot, Simena is a hidden
gem where you can wander narrow stone paths, admire traditional whitewashed
houses adorned with bougainvillea, and discover rock-cut tombs. This idyllic
destination is the perfect escape for travelers seeking a glimpse into Turkey’s past while
soaking in its serene coastal allure.

Aperlai

Hidden along Turkey’s Lycian Coast, the ancient city of Aperlai offers a fascinating
journey into history and nature. Once a thriving Lycian settlement, its ruins now rest
quietly by the water, partially submerged beneath the turquoise sea. Visitors can
explore remnants of city walls, sarcophagi, and the unique sunken ruins, creating a
captivating blend of archaeology and natural beauty. Accessible only by boat or kayak,
Aperlai is an ideal destination for adventurers seeking a serene escape and a glimpse
into the ancient world amidst breathtaking coastal scenery.

Andriake

Andriake, the ancient harbor of Myra in Lycia, was a bustling center of maritime trade
and cultural exchange. Located on Turkey’s stunning southern coast, this historic port
played a pivotal role in the ancient Mediterranean economy, connecting Asia Minor to
the wider Roman Empire. Visitors today can explore its well-preserved granaries, built
under Emperor Hadrian, and learn about its significance as a hub for grain storage and
trade. Perfect for history enthusiasts and adventurers alike, Andriake offers a glimpse
into the dynamic life of an ancient seafaring civilization. Dive into history and discover
Andriake’s timeless charm!

Kaş

Nestled along Turkey’s stunning Mediterranean coastline, Kaş is a charming coastal
town that blends natural beauty with rich history. Renowned for its turquoise waters,
rugged cliffs, and hidden coves, Kaş is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure
seekers. From world-class diving and sea kayaking to exploring ancient Lycian ruins and
vibrant local markets, the town offers something for everyone. Its laid-back
atmosphere, colorful streets, and delicious Mediterranean cuisine make Kaş the
perfect destination to relax, explore, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Turkish
Riviera.

Patara

Patara, one of the most captivating destinations on Turkey’s Lycian Coast, is a treasure
trove of history and natural beauty. Home to the longest sandy beach in Turkey, this
ancient city is steeped in rich heritage as the birthplace of democracy, boasting ruins
like the grand Roman theater, an impressive ancient lighthouse that is being
resurrected, and the iconic Lycian parliament building that served as the first
