This is another trip to a magnificent place, Kekova Sunken City that can only be reached by sea kayak. You can discover the magical world of Kekova Sunken City, with its ruins just below the sea level and the mysterious chambers, steps and walls carved directly into the rocks. Kekova is actually a long thin island that separates the open sea from the mainland. The surrounding peculiar ecosystem formed by thin points and narrow bays is absolutely quiet and peaceful. Teimousa (Ucagiz) village at the inner harbor of the Kekova Sound is our starting point of the kayaking trip.

Paddling s-westwardly we plan to arrive in Tersane(Boatyard Bay) on the Kekova Island after 1 hr paddling. You can find enough time for swimming, snorkeling, hiking the ruins or lazing in a 30 minutes break.

After long break, we paddle along the sunken city (Dolchiste) side of Kekova Island. making a short open-cressing to Simena will take us our luch spot. After lunch you can climb up to Simena Castle for watching all Kekova Sound with a breath taking panaroma.

After leaving the Simena behind, we will paddle again to Ucagiz village discovering the ecological and geological diversity of the Lycian shore.
