Our itinerary features riding each day to a different destination, relaxing on the secluded beachs, ancient ruins, native life & Turcoman villages.
The ranch is presents you eight marvellous days of history. A Missionary Church from the Hellenistic Period which has survived hundreds of years in the mountains, the Juruks " Mountain People's" life, the mystical mine & sand caverns, the rivers and lakes of the region, orange and grenadine gardens, all of these you will experience from horseback and truly within nature.
The ranch is located on the piedmonts of the Taurus Mountains, lying parallel to the most beautiful coast of Turkey. The ranch, located close to Antalya makes true weekly horse tours for those who love nature and are passinote horse lovers.
You can travel to the mythological Mt.Olympus and the enchanted valley of below or have a ride through the forest on one of our eight different routes.
Olympus is one of the
most beautiful
spots in Turkey - a paradise awaiting you. Home to a wide
range of flora and fauna. The beach is one of a few breeding grounds of
the loggerhead turtles and is protectedunder national heritage.
You will have a chance to see the
ancient ruins of the Lycian
&
Pamphylian
civilization and sunbathe on the magnificent beaches of Phaselis,
a city
existing since the Hellenic & Roman civilizations. Swim in the crystal-clear
waters of the Mediterranean Sea or have a ride on the back of a
camel & learn the secrets of the Anatolian cuisine, and visit Turcoman folk in
their authentic huts.
Not forgetting the children,
we have individual & group pony riding lessons for them.
The
shuttle service to the beach is free. The
distance to Kiriş village coast is 2.5 kms.
and
visitors who stay at tehe ranch will have the
chance of doing some of the activities free of charge.
For instance tennis, volleyball, basketball, swimming, mint
football, fitness centre and cycling.
Itinerary
Day 1: Antalya-The Horse Ranch(Tekirova village): Arrive in Turkey.
Transfer from
Antalya airport to the ranch. An introduction cocktail
for the guests and time to meet the horses.
The guest's horses will be decided. Free time till dinner.
Individual participants(less than 4-people group) should meet with the shuttle in Tekirova village(bus station). Every thirty minutes you can get the bus service from Antalya bus terminal to Tekirova village.
Lunch and Dinner
Day 2:
At 10:00 am after breakfast, we will
ride
towards Tahtalı Mountain to the house of a native nomad.
Firstly we will take a half an hour ride aong the magnificent Mediterranean bays. While moving up to the mountain path on our right side you will see Kuzdere,Kemer and Göynük villages and on the other side a wonderful panaroma of the Mediterranean sea. We return to the ranch by 14:00pm. Free time till dinner.
The first time rider(s) will be trained at the manege for the second day trip joining the group. At the ranch, we have a 2500 sqm manege where you can have horseback riding lessons by professional trainers.

Day 3:
At 10:00 pm after breakfast we will
ride
to Kuzdere.
It is the most interesting village in
the region. You can
experience a
cultural and authentic view of our country where
walking through the village, stopping to drink Turkish tea or visiting
Kuzdere
mosque and school. Our return path is magnificent. You will see the
wonderful orange gardens surrounding İkiz Kayalar(Twin Rocks) which is a
famous attribute in
the region. At 14:00 pm after returning to the ranch, you can
enjoy the beauty of the day relaxing &
swimming in the pool. The dinner is at 19:30pm.
While others are out riding on the trails, those with insufficient horseback riding skills may take training for another day at the ranch. You are allowed to practice only at the manege.

Day 4:
10:00 pm after breakfast we are ride towards Alacasu, 12km distanced from the ranch. Alacasu
is one of the most beautiful bays in the region. The historical city of Phaselis
was a place where lovers met secretly for a told story. You can swim in the
beautiful sea while the horses can
have a rest here. After this we
will visit an ancient mine that Phaselis citizens made. This iron and chrome
mine was the most important mine of the Phaselis citizens at the
time.
From here they made all their waring hardware as well as living needs and exports. As we return to the ranch you will feel as though you are walking thru history.

Day 5:
Our tour starts in the
afternoon today. We will gallop along the
Mediterranean shores. This is a 4-5 hour tour we will
arrange starting time according to
the weather. We will start by moving to Kesme Boğazı, 11 km from
our ranch. You can swim in the valley where the
Ağva River passes through. On our
return we will ride to Kiriş Beach, here we can gallop
along the shore at sunset. It will not take so long to return back
from Kiriş beach as it is only a 5 minute journey back to
the ranch in our bus.

Day 6:
10:00 am after the breakfast we will ride to
an antique chapel on Mt.
Olympus. In this four hour
trip we will climb up 600-700m in height
with our horses. We will ride to
this magnificent place for 8 km
through beautiful
forest.
Up on the
hill we will
tie our horses near a water spring and take a ten minute walk where you
will have a wonderful panaroma of the Mediterranean Sea, a
Kumquat Village
and the historical city.
After we return to the ranch, a special night will be waiting for you.

Day 7:
Today will be more streneous day. At 10:00 pm we will ride towards the mountains. After an hour we
will pass through a farm with other animals. After this,
we will start along climb for the horses. We end up reaching
a natural spring pool where we stop for a while The on
the way back to the ranch we can
enjoy views and wildness of nature here.

Day
8: Kemer-Antalya:
Final transfer and
flight home.
Transfer to Antalya Airport.
Individual participants(less than 4-people group) will be transferred to Tekirova(bus station) where every thirty minutes you can find a bus service to Antalya bus terminal.

Notes:
Previous horse riding experience is an advantage but is not essential. However, in order to participate in a horse riding trip you should be in good physical and mental fitness.
Price includes: 7 days full board accommodation in the ranch hotel's standard rooms. 25 hours horseback riding; all transport during the tour, transfers from/to Antalya Airport for the groups of minimum 4 persons; all horseback riding equipment: services of professional and experienced guides; For terms & conditions and reservations, please refer to our reservations page on our web site.
Guest's own equipment for the horseback riding is allowed to be used.
In the unlikelyevent of an accident during the trip, any injuries or traumas sustained are covered by our insurance.Those with insufficient horseback riding skills are allowed to practice only at the manege.
The members of the tours are recommended to ware comfortable clothes, sport shoes, a towel, swimming suits, suntan lotion, hats etc. with them.
Travel Insurance
is highly recommended for all
international
outdoors & adventure travel.
Depending on the weather situation, it might be necessary to modify the horseback riding tour program; in this case the modifications will be announced in time before the flight to Turkey.

Beginner: A rider who has limited experience, is unable to post the trot and does not canter. Novice: A rider who is capable of mounting and dismounting unassisted, capable of applying basic aids, comfortable and in control at a walk, moderate length posting trots, and short canters. Intermediate: A rider who has a firm seat, is confident and in control at all paces (including posting trots, two point canters and gallops), but does not ride regularly. Strong Intermediate: An intermediate rider who is currently riding regularly and is comfortable in the saddle for at least 6 hours per day. Advanced: All of the above, plus an independent seat, soft hands, and capable of handling a spirited horse in open country. |
