Each
route, each activity has different attractions. While enjoying different means
of moving through nature, you will have a chance to observe natural formations
and habitat besides the local life style, culture and the ancient Lycian ruins.
Previous
experience is an advantage but is not essential. However participants should be
in a good physical and mental fitness for the itinerary described below.
A
flexible state of mind and a sense of humor are also important when experiencing
"Lycian time."
Remember
to leave your clocks, deadlines and schedules behind so you can enjoy a state of
mind where the local concept of time is measured by the seasons.
Safety is first! Our guides are passionate about outdoor pursuits. We know how
to have fun. But we also respect our natural heritage and the potential perils
of adventure travel-we are very safety-oriented.
Come
prepared for spectacular Lycian sunrises and sunsets that will take your breath
away. Add to that an incredible variety of photographic subject matter-people,
landscapes, architecture and wildlife.

Day 2-7
SCUBA DIVING:
DISCOVER
SCUBA DIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME TRIAL INTO UNDERWATER WORLD OR REGULAR DIVE FOR
THE CERTIFIED DIVERS OF ANY LEVEL.
Kaş underwater is simply the best along Turkish Coast.
With its peculiar shore formations, ancient and
modern wrecks, underwater remains of ancient civilizations, reefs, canyons and
caverns, Kaş is internationally recognized, amazing dive destination, one of the
best in the
Mediterranean. Crystal clear turquoise sea purified by local currents offers
excellent dive conditions and exceptionally rich fauna and flora. Many areas,
unspoiled, have only recently been opened for diving after years of
restrictions. Water temperature: Between 19°C (January) and 28°C (August).
Visibility: Between 25 meters and 40 meters.
Discover Scuba:
A chance to discover the underwater world for the absolute beginners. This
provides a safe, enjoyable introduction to the Undersea World. After a brief
introduction to diving techniques that will help you adapt to the underwater,
you will be taken on a one-to-one accompanied dive in shallow waters. Price
includes full equipment, all tuition, and a 20-min dive to a max of 6 meters.
No
previous scuba diving experience is necessary.
SEA KAYAKING:
Explore
ancient waterways paddling, sailing; a different way of connecting history, blue
waters and green coasts. Sea kayak tour to discover magical turquoise coast of Kaş
Archipelago, islands, ruins and the sunken city. This tour takes you on scenic
journey to some of beautiful land easily accessible areas around. For lunch we
will stop at a calm cove while relaxing, swimming, walking to another ruin which
mostly ignored by the regular trips. You will paddle on very stable and seaward
double (tandem) sea kayaks. Your guide will provide you with all required basic
information and practical hints about kayak paddling & sailing.
No
previous kayaking experience is necessary.
HIKING:
The
region of Kaş provides countless opportunities for outdoor activities. Walking
and hiking are among the most popular. Walking on easy paths, passing through
dramatically rich Mediterranean maquis, viewing snowy hills, hidden canyons,
green valleys and cool water springs, watching an amazing variety of fossils,
birds (birds of prey, partridges, song birds, seasonal shore birds...), plants
(sage, thyme, bulb flowers, endemic plants such as Mediterranean orchids) and
other wilderness are certainly a good option for those who do not want to spend
their vacation lying on the beach. While you are walking on the antique Lycian
paths, you will scroll through unspoiled ancient city ruins, temples and
characteristic local villages.
Fully equipped and
experienced leaders guide our activities.
No
previous hiking experience is necessary.
FREE DAY:
Different daily programs are possible. You can choose cultural
sight seeing tours, horse riding, tandem
paragliding, river canoeing, daily excursion to distant archaeological sites or
extra scuba diving.
Day-8:
The tour ends after the breakfast.
